The Crow's Nest has enjoyed a great reputation for community involvement in Venice for the past 30 years. The Crow's Nest has been involved in Venice area youth activities, the Venice Chamber of Commerce, the Community Foundation of Sarasota, the Sarasota Originals, the Venice Main Street Association, Suncoast Offshore Grand Prix, Venice Womens' Sailing Squadron, Manatee Community College, United Way, Children First and many more.

Crow's Nest & Bogey's owner Steve Harner feels blessed by the support of the Venice community and has been involved in several charitable organizations. Venice has been good to the Harners and with the support of a great staff, Steve has been able to participate in the community. From Venice Chamber president, to stints on local boards like Little League, Venice Hospital, and the Venice Foundation (which Steve also chaired) and as a current Trustee of Manatee Community College, Steve has been able to show his appreciation to the Venice area.
